Darjeeling
Nestled in the foothills of the snow covered Himalayan range. Darjeeling, grows this exclusive tea at altitudes ranging from 600 to 2000 meters. The cool and moist climate, the soil, the rainfall and the sloping terrain combine to give Darjeeling its exquisite muscatel flavour (the grapey taste that makes it so popular). Darjeeling is one of the most sought after teas in the world because it can not be grown or replicated anywhere else and it accounts for less than 1% of all tea harvested worldwide. Dargeeling is to tea, what champagne is to wine.

	Assam The Assam region is located to the far northeast of India along the Burmese border. This is the land of the one-horned rhino, the land through which the mighty river Brahmaputra winds its majestic course. Assam is rich with nature’s bounty and a rainfall ranging from 200 to 300 cms - a bounty that ensures a very special place for the teas grown here.

	Nilgiri The Blue Mountains or the Nilgiris are situated in southern India. A picturesque range of undulating hilly landscapes where tea is grown at elevations ranging from 1000 meters to above 2500 meters and rainfall varies from 100 to 600 cms. These conditions favour the fine flavour and brisk liquor of Nilgiri teas. This combination of fragrance and briskness makes Nilgiri a truly unique tea found nowhere else in the world.

	Oolong Noted as being a golden brown tea with orchid-like flavouring. Oolong tea is exposed to oxygen after picking for approximately 1/2 the time of traditional Organic Black Tea. Organic Oolong Tea is a balanced taste between Green Tea and Black Tea and has a devoted consumer following.

	First Flush Darjeeling's first spring leaves produce a sharp green aroma and mildly astringent taste, gently moderated by a soft floral scent. Produced only in small quantities during a brief growing season, First Flush is eagerly sought by tea connoisseurs worldwide. (100 grams/3.5 ounces)

	Second Flush A light tea gleaned from early summer leaves, Second Flush has a slightly darker brew and fuller aroma than First Flush. When carefully preserved, Second Flush's "keeping" properties are superior to those of other Darjeeling teas. Many connoisseurs prefer Second Flush to any other tea. (100 grams/3.5 ounces)
